I am blown away! Everything makes sense now. I can’t believe I never thought about Silas having a doppelgänger. The Patrova Doppelgänger was created when the Originals where turned using the spell; so of course when Silas cast the immortality spell a doppelgänger line would be created then as well! You can say a lot of things about Matt Smith. But after that episode, one thing you can’t say is that he’s not a fantastic actor. I mean he is incredible.
